My Friends 1988 MK1 Nova

Heres my mates 1988 Nova Merit, he got it with 30k on the clock fairly standard, he then put a 1600 8v cavalier engine in it with a kent cam and a 4 branch manifold. It has gone through various interiors including GSi, GTE, MK1 Astra GTE and stripped out with Cobra Monacos and a rollcage.

It is currently off the road at the moment getting a rebuild with a 1600 16v from a Tigra, respray and Irmscher Quad Lights.

was my old mk2 parked next to it.

Ill see if i can find any better pics of it, at the moment its a totally bare shell!

i remember seeing that when some old lady had it, it was clean as fook. saw it in westhills some time later and looked abused. shame really was nice in that shade of white.

My mate would have had it when you say you saw it looking abused. It has had 3 owners since the old lady and he is the only one to have looked after it but was not in a great state by that point hence why it is off the road at the moment.
