I drive a 1.2i and am desperate for more power, people have mentioned a de-cat pipe, how much difference does this make, where can i get one , how much are they, and are they easy to fit or will i have to take it to a garage to get done.
cheers

to de-cat a 1.2i u need to swap the exhaust for a GTE version
or at the very least swap the center pipe for a gte center pipe
but you'll prolly need welding done unless u get the full system cos the mounting interface is different between the downpipe and the center section

u don't need cats on novas my black plated k reg 1.2i passed fine without one
Does that mean no novas actually need cats to pass the MOT (apart from the few L plates around).
