1.6 carb transplant

i am about to put a gte engine in my nova and dont want all the injetion crap. i went and got a 1.6 carb and manifold off a belmont to put that on but the ports in the head are round and the ports in the manifold are square. this dies not look good to me. does any one know what manifold and things i need. also will i ned some special distributer and things

there are only about 5 wires that are different, and the haynes book will help. the fuel tank fits straight on, if you plan to strip all of the injection components, why don't you just go back to the scrappy and get the belmont engine, and sell the gte lump to someone else??????????????????



ps. the injection stuff is not crap. it gets more power than anything a carb from a belmont could offer, plus 40+mpg on long trips, plus it will pass mot emissions tests.
