can anybody point me in the direction of where to find a suitable manifold to be used with a t3, with very limited space towards the top of the slam panel
and is there a a significant advantage to a t3 over the kkk
Think the only ones available off the shelf are the Nortech ones, or you could modify a 200sx manifold.
Theres plenty of room but you'll probly need to trim the slam panel a bit.
Advantages over a K16, depends on what spec T3 you go for.

there are hundreds of flavours of T3 so as the R1CH says, it all depends on spec.
If its any sort of Cosworth T3 or RS Turbo T3 then I wouldn't bother.
A good turbo for not a lot of money is a Cosworth T34.48 or even the ones with the .55 or .63 exhaust housing, proven to work very well, internally gated and ultra reliable unlike the cheap ebay tat for similar money.
You would ofcourse still need a manifold making, Jay @ Nortech is your best bet unless you can find a 200sx one thats been modded or find someone to modify it, make sure the SX one has a T3 flange as most I have seen use the T25 flange and a Cosworth turbo won't fit.

t3 will be fine for the spec, better than a t34 at a mild state of tune. concentrate on the chassis, thats where the smart money is:thumb: regards, morris
Cosworth T3 is no better than a KKK16 so why bother going through the hassle of changing a manifold to fit a nigh on similar turbo ?

may as well keep the kkk on and spend the money else where. or at least find vauxhall own parts instead of raiding the ford parts bin. thiefs
KKK is no good though if you want 300+

not sure why you'd want 300+ through the front wheels though:thumb: surely a diff, decent suspension and top mounts etc would be a more ideal situation?
TBH I'd expect anyone building a let nova to have the following things :
Coilovers
Uprated bushes
GTE tie bars minimum
6 speed and LSD
Alloy top mounts are great but not for the road so not essential, new standard rubber items are more than upto the job although I have personally use eccentric mounts on my own cars.
You can see near to 350hp using a T34 and Evo5 chips and its still very useable, if I was wanting to build a fast let but didn't want to get into building a proper engine its the route I'd go down.
A cossy T3 simply has no gains over a KKK except adding £800 to the build cost to use one by the time you get a manifold sorted etc..
