I put car in 4 MOT and failed on headlamp aim, does anyone know how 2 adjust this? i think is a simple job but dont know what has to align to?

Rough method:
park about 2 car lengths away from another car,using dipped beam the top of the beam should be approx at the top of the other cars rear bumper.
hope this helps.
if not places loke central tyre will do it for a fiver ech light!

isn't a simple case of just twisting the things on the back of the head lights to adjust the angle of it? tighten to move up, loosen to move down?

the beam has to shine to a certain height in front of the car so you can see well enough but so as not to dazzle on coming traffic.

chapter 10, section 17 in haynes manual if your car is mk 1(gte), ,or revisions section 13 if mk2 i think.
mine repeatedly failed on this, but u can just kp adjusting it til its right, time and time again!i think i went back to that test station about 10 times!!they luv it

you should just ask em what the right level is and do it there and then.
only takes a couple of minutes.
