raising bonnet

what do you lot rekon to raising the back of the bonnet on a nova. thought of using a big nut under the hinge. does it actually help heat escape or just for looks?:thumb:

i got a let nova and def runs cooler with the back jacked up a bit.i spaced it with some long m6 bolts with nut on the bracket and bonnet side.

i just chucked a few extra nuts under the hinge, i admit only being a gsi engine it wasnt needed but it suited the look of the car and id guarantee it would never overheat. and for the people who say it looked daft, it only takes 2 minutes to put back down :)

I think raising the back of the bonnet looks awesome.

Can't wait til i get another nova i've got it all planned. Carbon bonnet with the back raised on a white nova mk1 ofc there ftw.
