Another year has passed and christmas is coming yay! not It just leaves me skint and with a room full of crap I didn't want!
So what do you want this year?
I would like:
money to get me out of my overdraft!!
A new nova would be nice
some expensive clothes too :thumb:All i'll get though is ****ty bath stuff and cheap jewellry lol
A few people have asked me that question and this is the first year thar I actually don't have a clue what I want. The other half says that's a sign of getting older. lol
I know what you mean about the crappy bath sets though. Such a cop-out present.
I always find money to be a complete cop out present. The idea of giving someone a gift implies that you know them well enough to select something they will like, plus you've put some thought into it and actually taken time to think about them etc. Just giving someone £10/£50/£100 to do with as they wish is a fail in my book.
Having said that, I don't know what I want lol I'd like a welder to get myself into that, dvds and tools are usually a win too. I never bother asking for car parts as nobody ever buys them for me, and tbh I know more than anyone what parts I want. Plus I'd not expect anyone to buy the expensive parts I demand lol
Ooh, one thing I do want is the remote controlled chinook that maplin sell :D

I've got the normal helicopter, but this looks fun lol
Whats that Jack a snowplow lol
I've no idea either.... Anything I "want" I'll go out and buy at anytime of the year, so that scuppers other peoples ideas lol. I'm getting old so have asked the family for vouchers so that we can buy a big ass comfy bed (although pointless due to the lack of time that will be spent in it come January lol)
I like thier A-team van

I was droping loads of hints about a tool kit i wanted for christmas but in the end i got too impatient and bought it myself. This now leaves me with less money to spend on others:tard:

My sister specifically asked me for cash, so thats what she's getting :p.
Also, when asked what I want I usually ask for cash because I tend to want something expensive and wouldn't want to ask anyone for said expensive thing.
This year I'm hoping for the Battlestar Galactica series 1-4.5 box set, some DSLR batteries and some cash.
Ive have already got my prezzy from Carla.
Its a full pollycarb window setup for me track car.
So this means ive got ollys old windows for sale.(back 3 only)
pm if interested.
some DSLR batteries
Ahhah, there's something to add on my list lol
for the first time in a couple of years i kinda know what i want, im hoping that everyone will pitch in for my laptop.
But as for other people, apart from my mum and dad, nobody knows what they want, thats when they get rubbish prezzies...

I got asked this by my mum the other week. TBH, its been the last thing on my mind recently. Got a load of rumors/cut hours/less money crap going on at work, which i have just returned to after 5 months off after my accident, so christmas hasnt really been high on my agenda. The misses on the other hand wont STFU about it lol

So if all your family sit there having a good time and opening presents, you wouldn't be bothered about not getting anything? I think not!

lol and in my case? its just me and my mom:D so my mom gets nothing, i get nothing.
xmas is just 2 boring sundays in a row
My missus has given me a list of things to buy :thumb: nice and easy.
I haven't got a clue what I want. She always finds stuff I like though.
Christmas is great now anyway, even if I got nothing. Just watching the kids get over excited and enjoying themselves is by far the best part!

Well i need a laptop asap but im not expecting anybody to buy me one lol so ive asked for money and then i can pitch in to and get a decent one (why are macbooks soooo expensive?!?! anybody know were they sell them cheap(er))
As for the family, one brother wants vouchers, the other, comfy walking boots and tbh the other can get stuffed lol
Ive been making the old ders present for couple of days now and should be ready by next week and has cost me a ton in American black walnut! Strange as how you get older you couldn't care what you got but seeing others happy is the best present ever :) (soppy bit over!)
christmas is a time for people to get together, cos everyone is too busy the rest of the year.
I don't feel christmassy at all until we take the kids to the candlelit carol service, they drop the lights, light the candles & the first carol is always 'Away in a manger' that is christmas for me. I always do the cooking, cos my missus is a nurse & always has to work. then on Boxing Day, we chase the Atherstone Hunt round the Market Bosworth area in a 4x4. they never catch a fox anyway (they never did before the ban anyway).

im still at the age i get **** load of prezzies off my mum and dad lol already had my main prezzies off them, set of cav slabs and a gsi bumper lol how awesome

Ah, the NHS christmas. Both my parents are nurses so we grew up knowing that you may end up working christmas day and boxing day just the same as any others. The nhs doesn't aknowledge bank holidays, chritmas holidays, weekends, pesonal lives, etc, etc.
It's fine, so long as it isn't my mum on the early shift. Dad can't cook for ****. Cracking welder though.:thumb:
I want peace and good will to all men.
Ideally I want a 2 post lift or a 200L Compressor and air tool kit, please.

All I want for crimbo is for my first baby to be ok and healthy when he or she decides to arrive :)
Rep added. I wish you both all the very best.
we convinced our kids that the tree fairy came round at night & did the tree. I had never before seen children physically shake with excitement when they first saw the tree. it was magical

Joe re that fish tank - you planning on keeping sharks!
HOLY BATH TUB!
My wife gave me 2 sheets of A4 with very specific stuff on it - which is brilliant because I always go mad and spend tons but never quite get it right.
All I want is an orbital sander and some stripey socks (been on my christmas list for the last 3 years lol)
Have to say I love christmas - the festive euro market's opened up in Glasgow and its a right laugh having a wander round it on mu lunch break - eating HUGE German sausages and drinking strange Latvian beer!
