Most more modern cars come with components built in, although they are usually $hit. Now my question is, are all the tweeters the same size on these kits? The main drivers differs, and i'm looking for 6.5" drivers, but I have no idea weather the tweeters will fit, and whether it's easy to fit them using existing wiring?

I have bought 2 sets of components before. One set had larger tweeters then the other set eventhough both were Sony.

So Im guessing that they vary.

Some kits come with adaptors to suit specific cars.

they will vary alot as OEM speakers nowadays are made for the specific cars, and can ofter be moulded in to the fittings. If you replace them you will almost certainly have to 'make' them fit, and its worth checking what room you will have before buying a set.
