How do you tell if your car is a single or double choke as I am after a K and N bolt on filter for a 1.3sr and i need to know which one it is as there are two versions for the car. Any help is well appreciated.

my mates f reg 1.3 sr is a pierburg 2E3-same as on my 1.4 sr mk2.
if you remove the standard air filter, the top of the carb is like circular,i think at the top left(ish) of that circular bit1 it'll give you the make(eg 2E3,if thats what it is!)
if not, once you've got the air filter off you should be able to compare it to one of the pics in the haynes-the pics are actually quite a good resemblance.
hope this helps in some way!?!

single = manual choke
dual = auto choke

thats if its standard manual choke, cos a kit can be added to the double choke(auto)pierburg, to convert it to be manual.
