And still suffer the same reliability issues with the loom & sensors.

Lets face it, most LET issues stem from the loom.

A new loom bought from Vauxhall is more than most Vauxhalls are valued at. Add the live mapping costs & no doubt extra stuff you'd need for it to be mapped & it will get close to a standalone setup... No brainer.

Why you would want to piss about with it anyway is beyond beleif, its dogshi.t

The youngest loom is over 10 years old, the wires are so weathered and pony they probably carry 5% of the current they're meant too.

90% of ECU's have been ripped apart by some numpty cun.t to put chips into, so theyre probably all fecked.

Seeing how cheap aftermarket management is, and how well it actually works you'd be a fool to even consider mapping bosch motronic.
