Just bought this. Its a basic 1.2i, no clock, no cig lighter, dont even think it has rear fog....
Needs some work but given time......and money should get there :D

Cant post pics cause im a newbie :(

This is my second 1.
I had 1 when i started drivin bout 7 years ago but it met an unfortunate end.
Was a 93 white merit+. Head on collision with truck.
Only passenger door,boot door, and rear bumper survived.
This is my second chance :D

Can i just send my car over to 1 of ye 2 sort out the rust, and carry out the welding and strenghtening.
From what ive seen on here ye know ur stuff....

ye mad thing just get a local welder,it will cost a small fortune to send it to england just for welding strengthning,whats the plans for it engne wise?

Ah, was only jokin...
Hopin 2 put in a 1.6 with twin carbs, although some friends are tryin 2 talk me into puttin a redtop in it :D

Open 2 all suggestions, never modified 1 of these before....

my mate could be breakin a corsa sport 1.4 16v,rust bucket but engine is solid,he wont be lookin for more than 250 euro and were in dublin,that is if ur interested

Would there be much involved in puttin that in?
The guy i bought the car from said he thinks he knows where theres a 1.3 on throttle bodies...

1.3 on TB's could be interesting - Is it an old 8v engine ?

If its a Nova SR engine it would be 8v - Find out about it

Wont be a lot done for a while.....money money money.
Bought it as a nice lookin runaround while i fix up my celica gt four.
Looks like i'll be doin up 2 cars now :D

best of luck with the car remind me of mine when i got her first till a fella drove into me and wroth it off 3 nights ago :( thing is she had no rust whats so ever was a showroom car for the first year and now she is dead.
anyway will be watching this one wellwear:)

A friend of mine told me he had 1 and was thinkin of sellin it for 500 euro.
Ended up taken 300 for it instead...:D
Yep, the spoiler is goin. Want a GSi one instead, same with bumpers, interior, etc...
