yeah but its not acctually thrashing the living sh*t out of the engine, may only have a 1.1 cause of insurance, not everyone can afford to insure top of the range ones, but it shows now that all the boy racers are now days all basically into 106s and small french cars, 2bh most french cars ive bin in seem terrible! and dont feel that steady, its not a dodgey car itself, but in general what ive bin in

I love the fact they're slagging Nova's off for being rusty, poor mites have a very nasty surprise coming when they discover the rear chassis rails, crossmember, boot floor and roof are rotting very quickly away well hidden from view :D (yes I've worked on lots of these as bare shells)

me and a mate are going round europe and to the nurberg ring early next year, he owns a 106 gti and i think mine will breakdown first :(

But at least mine can handle and still get over speed bumps :p

Err yes it does if you think about it, ABS, PAS, Airbags, seatbelt pretensioners, the fact that its newer age wise so should have less rot than a nova so yes theyre better for being newer lol

Either one is going to be painfull tbh but id guess a 106 would probably fare better due to having crumple zones and the likes which the nova aint got, although ive been in a fairly nasty shunt @ 50mph in a nova and came out of it alright i guess so meh! lol
