1300 SR vs 1.3L

what are the differences between a 1300SR engine and that from a 1.3L, if any :?:

I'm thinking of putting a 1300 lump in my 1200 and my HAYNES manual just lists a 1297cc engine.

no difference in engine

gearbox is has different final drive making it a bit quicker thru the gears

so i'd get better performance from a SR 5speed close ratio gearbox? :roll:

what about GTE gearboxes etc?

Forget about GTE boxes and stick to the SR CR box -its the best
