Well the little scroaty scumbags round my area seem to have been busy last night - this is what greeted me at 7am this morning - it actually happened at 11pm last night but wasn;t much I could really do about it then!!

On closer inspection the door is beyond repair due to the amount of force used to pull it back. Fortunatley the OE alarm went off and scared the buuggers away without having chance to steal anything !
There has been a spate of corsa thefts and break ins in the Humberside area thanks to this article giving all the local scroats an idea :-
Hull Daily Mail (http://www.thisishullandeastriding.co.uk/environment/Car-thieves-targeting-Vauxhall-Corsas/article-406704-detail/article.html)
Anyway a quick trip to a local vauxhall breakers and lighter by £47 and an afternoon off work and things are nearly back to normal :-

I am now installing PIR lights for the drive - gggggggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :mad::mad:
Joff
why do people do it, it really gets under my skin when things like this happen
That happened quite a few times to people up here, although they did get things stolen. It sucks when someone breaks into your car or tries to
Little *****. And it was on your drive, the bloody cheek of it! Glad you got it fixed without spending a bomb but it's £47 and a cople of hours which you could have spent on something else. Hope the scumbags don't come back and I'm glad it wasn't the Nova.
Oh why eh, they have done alot of damage and for what, Im just glad you managed to get it sorted.

cud of been the nova!!! harder to get bits for!!!
Aww youre kidding, they must be from out of the village in which case they drove there to try and take it as youre not exactly in a busy place are you.
That seems rather excessive force to have torn the window down as far as that to me, id possibly look into cctv aswell tbh joff, B&Q do decent scart fitment plug and play systems.. might be worth having a look into?

The exact same thing happened a few weeks ago when me and porter went to the cinema, came out to find the door bent like that and the contents of the glovebox everywhere. nothing stolen... pointless and annoying.
Having looked at the comments on the story in the HullDailyMail it sickens me to be from this town..........
Get away then like i did.....
I would if i could tbh but nowhere to go!
Little fsckers  more the fact they're wrecked the door in the process, I mean its really not hard to get into a corsa without leaving a mark on it
Looks like you'll have to wash the rest of the car now though to match the door lol
is that corsa a 95 one or newer ( i dont know how to tell with english plates )
Aye, N is 95.
I came out one morning about a week ago to find the door open on my nova, and I sure as hell didn't leave it open. I did notice my pikey neighbours were sniffing round it a couple weeks back when it was parked in the road, so now I make a point of removing all the valuables and immobilising it each night!

Disclok yes, but those bar type ones will attract thieves as they can use it to break the steering column lock.
Little ****ers - my first nova was broken into twice, once by the likes that tried to get yours - useless hoods who have no idea, second time by a more professional bloke I guess, didn't even notice untill I was in traffic, went to turn on the stereo and no sound came out - all speakers and boot build gone!!!!!
I caught I lad once, filled him in, broke his arm, got nicked :( as much as you want to kill the little ****, just make sure you do it so he either doesn't know it was you, or doesn't remember, or isn't a total wimp who grasses on you to his mum who calls the police!!!!

little scumbags, invest in a rotty or a staffy joff and tie it to the car that would surprise the little feckers if they came to steal it again...

And you just had that all painted. Are you going to have the new door repainted to match the freshness of the rest of the car?

The reason why it keeps happening is that the police dont do F**K all when they catch them slap on the wrist and dont do it again a pissed girl decided to boot my door in last night with heels on it dented it and put 4 inch scratch on it its gonna cost me £260 to put right

Fortunately this door doesn't have a scratchon it and is in very good condition - came of an X reg corsa - I've t-cutted it and has come up great.
I waxoyled it as well just to preserve the metal!

I actually dream of one day catching some one trying to break into/steal my car, it would probably be worth it for the satisfaction of beating the sh!t out of them.

5years ago i caught someone nicking my car, after he ran off i caught him and beat the living day lights out of him, he went to court with a black eye and got sent down for 2years...now thats satisfaction.
Thats British justice for you.

Little c4nts. its 47 quid that you didnt need to spend. what were they trying to nick the car or something inside ?
Im sorry to see this Joff....... I have a corsa as my daily user and they did exactly the same to mine around a month ago. The door frame wasnt a bad and I was able to bend it back in however I didnt have an alarm then so they attempted to steal it knackering the steering wheel/column and shrouds. Unfortunatly a lot of vauxhalls are the same in having weak door frames and you can practically bend them out with your finger tips let alone a crow bar. Glad to see you got it fixed quickly and found a door in the same colour what a bonus! although it may not match Im sure the bodyshop you used will not what shade and paint manufacturer they used so it should just be a front door paint to get it looking spot on again. :)

there is a little penis round here that has openly admitted to bragged about breaking into corsas an novas by bending doors. He has done the whole of long eaton including both my corsas and never actually managed to start any of them.
His name is Luke Monk and I have told the police and they know its him but still he out there.
I hope people like that die slowly. They have no purpose in life.
/\/\ sounds like time for a rat trap car & 6 lads hiding behind the biffa bins

I was thinking more of getting his home address which I never had or have and then driving my car through his front door. Would save him having to go out in the cold of night to break into cars.

Sounds like a plan. Thinking about it, now I understand this would be hard for a lot of you but I have an old ish computer which im going to put some place with stand alone power, not in a computer box in the boot which looks like crap. As my car is close to my house im going to have a CCTV camera or two wirelessly linked to my house thats recording on the computer in my house. Now if someone tries to nick the car ill have enough proof for the coppers.
I'll also have a pic of him/her so I know who to beat up :) :) .
If anyone wanted to pay for the bits locally i'd be happy to do it to any other novas :) lol :thumb:
Pete.

The typical Phil Sutton subtlety lol
I had the Nova broken into last week but they didn't even try and take the car. They nicked the face of my stereo out of the door pocket but left the rest of the head unit. They had the ECU out but left it luckily as they probably didn't know what it was.
They also screwdrivered the boot lock so i can't get in it now and ripped the lock out of the passenger door so that doesn't work either now. They are total scum.

second thoughts i might tint the windows on my calibra and use it as a bait car for attracting scum. i can wait in the boot and scare the **** out of them when they try lol

with the keys to her 2 week old vectra in 2003,...
thank f*ck the police caught someone they were looking for a previous crime, and he just so happened to have my mums keys... think he got 12 years overal with his combined crimes...
its people like that who i wish a slow and painful death due to making our lives a misery,..
hope you all find your culprates...

Theiving litte S.O.B's. Sorry to hear that dude. Same thing happened to my dads Cav a little while back, was parked at a posh estate and by the time my dad finished visiting his mate he noticed the passenger door bent.
Luckily, the they only managed to bend it back a few inches. Me and my dad were able to bend it back to original position bar a small crease in the door frame which he's gonna get pulled out when the car goes for a respray.
They tried to open the door but the deadlock made sure they didnt.
Really gets on my nerves this sorta thing police need to set up bait cars like in the Sates to catch these muppets in the act.
