Remove current bulbs and cover in sweet papers, Looks kinda sweet.

I use the proper sheets (non flammable). If you go to a theatre supplier etc and ask for a colour chart they'll probably give you (or charge ?2) for a small sample book, which has sheets big enough to cover bulbs.

I use #00987 misty blue.

They look pretty good, although they are currently a bit bright.
What sort did you get? I wouldn't mind to get a set myself - the standard illumination is just sheit...

They look alot brighter in the pic than they actually are. They are alot lighter, when you see them in real life. This is what i used...

This is for the middle switch First of all u need a skinny flat headed screwdriver then just pull the switch forward as much as u can then just put the screwdriver behind it and pull the screwdriver 2wards u and it will come off and the bulbs there. But for the side 1's u need 2 take off the top off your dash u'll need a star screwdriver for this but u have 2 get the left hand side air vent out first by just puttin a screwdriver at the top or bottom of the vent and jimmy it about i think u might have 2 push it forward and it will unclip and it'll come out then theres another screw whats keepin the vents in place take that out and then u can take off the top part of the dash then u can chage the bulbs.

You should be able to pull the knobs off the right and left heater controls. Then simply unscrew the plastic bit and change the bulbs, did it myself the other week. By the way it's cheaper to get replacement bulbs from Vauxhall than Halfords.

What are they little 5w? like side repeaters and sidelights at the front?

Or are they smaller and harder?

they are smaller than side repeater bulbs, they are tiny, halfords charged me ?1 each for the bulbs, in my mk1 dash there was 7 bulbs that had gone. SEVEN QUID FOR SOME BULBS  but it does lookin quite good in the dark now so i suppose its worth it in the long run.

For a ?1 each they can stay broke, it's just the heater controls
