Regretably the time has come to start thinking about parting with my beloved 309, tis a sad day http://309ownersclub.com/Community/images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif . Im considering an arctic corsa vxr in jan/feb so crunch time has come, spec is listed below and im just gauging interest atm, thanks for looking peeps.

Engine spec:

Alloy block mi16
K&N induction kit
Magnecor HT leads
Straight through S/S exhuast system
Rolling road printout for 161.2 Bhp (strange dip in the torque curve but i will explain if interest is shown)

Suspension/Handling spec:

Bilstein shocks and lowered front springs (not sure how much but the arches sit just over the 195/45/15's)
Compomotive Mo alloy wheels with very good tyres on all round
Group N stiffened engine mounts
Custom adjustable upper front strut brace
Recent new discs and pads all round (a month or so ago)

The car also has rose jointed gear linkages and a short shifter fitted (what a difference they make!) The body work is really good with only a few small 'car park' dings here and there and the odd light scratch, however then bonnet has suffered from stone chips, im told most 309's do? Mybe due the the bulky front end. It has the usual GTI stuff, power steering, central locking, electric windows etc AND THE REAR POP OUT WINDOWS ARE OPERATED BY 2 LEVERS BETWEEN THE FRONT SEATS!!!! I have raised the bonnet, this may not be to other likings but can be reversed easily. There is NO RUST, only surface rust on the slam panel which doesnt seem to be the original one anyway, the only surface rust i did find was taken back and re-covered with quality under body sealent. Fog lights are currently broken but i will be fixing them before it sells. The interior is immaculate, no rips, tears, burns and it has never been smoked in, i dont even think the cigarrette lighter has been used, i smoke and i do not allow it in my cars (it stinks!). The only worn part in the interior is the gearknob, and this is only due to it not being original as the car was one of very few automatics built (now converted to manual) which those of you who know 309's will know they also came with air conditioning, this however is not plummed in due to running the Mi16 although the a/c is still all there, you may also know that all the automatics (originally built for the JDM but then shipped over here) are a slightly different shade to uk 309's the same colour (or so im told) and they were all 'K' registration cars all with the reg ending in 'CVC'. French car magazine say there are only a handful left, mine being one of them. There is an original speedline spare wheel to go with the car although it has had the bracket removed as it was original destined to be a track toy but then saved by the previous owner, due to this it also comes with an alluminium sump guard (needs fixing holes drilling out) and it has had the sunroof replaced by an alluminium sheet. I think i have covered every thing but if you have any questions feel free to ask, the car has around 5 months tax and mot on it and i see no reason why it shouldnt fly through another mot, i payed £1800 for the car and have spent a good £4-500 on it since, maybe more, so im going to ask for £1900 or nearest offer to see it go, if i get £1900 i will also leave the fusion 12" subwoofer, amp, fusion wiring kit and 3 month old sony xplod head unit in the car. I also have £1000 of receipts for work carried out by spoox motorsport before i bought the car 6 months ago, it has 86K on the clock and some history to back it up.
