As above. Mine ran w**k though and felt really flat with it at 10deg btdc, so i just added more until it rain nice lol

i bet theres hundreds of SPIs out there with the base timing a mile out. Haynes doesnt specify a figure, so many of them are seldom adjusted correctly.

it should really be set up static not dynamically as the ecu is constantly adjusting the timing, so theres no way in telling whether the ECU is asking for 10 Deg or maybe 20 deg when you are aiming the strobe on a 10deg BTDC mark.
