Wiper set up is an AX/Uno motor (IIRC they both do the same job, both single wiper as standard) and its simply cable tied to the scuttle panel and held by the plastic nut/chamfered washer on the wiper shaft :thumb:
and thanks NOVABIKECARBED and Count :)

On oli and nathan's cars you guys have arch extensions/wide arches on the front, but why only on the front?
I understand that if you've made the track wider you'll get better handling but why not do the rear as well?

I would assume two main reasons, weight reduction that FG wings give, but mainly the freedom to use large width front tyres and give more freedom to use non 49mm offset rims.
Rear requires lots of cutting and modding, the rear wheels dont steer so dont need as much clearance, the arches can be trimmed and that would prob be enough.

Hi mate
Thanks for the info.
Is there any type of wiper arm/mechanism used or literally mount it, wire it up and stick on a wiper arm?
Cheers

dh dev your car is sweet!
Cheers! :D
The reason for the wide front and not rear, is that the front suffers more from clearance problems due to the fact that the wheels turn, the fronts are also easier to change (being bolt on panels), the rear wheels also just basically follow the front round (they do minimal braking, they don't steer and they don't provide acceleration) so it seems a bit pointless to widetrack the rear IMO, I've even considered fitting smaller diameter and smaller width wheels and tyres at the back to reduce weight!

Just as you say! The wiper arm connects directly to the motor. I used a porsche 911 wiper arm, as my friend had a spare, but just find a straight one to do the same. Again probably an AX or Uno one will work :thumb:

surely fitting thinner rears will make the back end move about quite a bit....
no huge problem there though :D
