Mk1-2 heater cable swap

How do the mk2 cables mount on to the mk1 heater please?
The connections are different i know,but was wondering how its done as it doesnt say in the guide.Thanks,Andy.

Use the mk2 heater box. Simple.

I was hoping there would be an option that didnt involve doing that as i left it at my mates garage 30 miles away.lol

no i didnt use the mk2 heater box
its hard to explain
there should be en end with two like kinda crocadile clips they go neaerst the engine onto the metal lugs which move

then there are plastic bits, some of mine were broken, super glue helps here lol. the kinda go in sideways and twist into place. at both ends.

once you have the green/teal metal bits in place its not to bad to work out.

try to prise the metal bits open and you will see a little metal bit on the inside of these, this kinda clips to the metal bit, there should be a small hole or indentation in the metal lug near the matrix.
