Gets in the car to go to work and TWANG goes the clutch cable.

Fixed that for an amazing £6 and the clutch felt better than ever.

Drove down the road and the alternator severed a fuel line and sprayed everywhere :mad: (bare in mind it took me a while to source the leak)

Fixed that and drove down the road to discover that the speedo didnt work/wasnt connected, so I turned round and had a day off :)

Darn these cars lol

I think I may have disturbed the fuel in line when doing the clutch cable, the alternator didnt want the fuel line on it's turf and chewed it up lots, £10 of fuel every fooking everywhere.

I'd be more glad that the fuel spill didn't ignite than angry at losing £10 worth of unleaded.

lol Mine has devloped a few problems today, mainly the spoiler not fitting and the alternator belt sweaking.

All is well at the moment :thumb: (Touch wood)

Only other thing is the exhaust is broken but s**t happens when you party naked. ;)

what he said, even tho I only have an 8v 2L there is still little room to get your arm down to where the clutch cable needed to be inserted.

Well on mine is near as in its is the engine bay and in the same area, although I have managed 10 years without it happening to mine?

I know, my wheels have started to run more than normal, my fuel gauge works when it wants and I had no heat out the blower.


Sorted the heat, the fuel gauge sorted itself and I ignore the wheels lol.

The exhaust needs re-welding also :( .

Maybe ill fix it all and nothing will go wrong soon, on the bright side kept me busy today :)
