Windscreen Wipers

The drivers side windscreen wiper keeps coming away from the part where it meets the passenger side wiper underneath the bonnet.

I can click it back in but i only lasts a short while and it falls back out, making me lean over to the other side of the car to see out properly! nightmare!

How are the rods connected together? is it a nut or something?

it is a quality-build the wiper linkages!they are basically a series of ball&socket joints which i dont think are repairable if broken because they r plastic.
best way of chekin wats at fault is to pop ur bonet,flick the motor and watch from inside the bonnet to see whats at fault.
a second-hand one wont be much from a scrappy.

Fixed it for now with..............an elastic band
