Was out yesterday in one of these (mates mothers) and they are awesome very capable cars from what I have seen, I have been in an ST3 before but the 500 has a few differences like only coming in black w/silver stripes, awesome red Recaros and Sony premium sound system which sounds immense for a factory setup, better than any Bose crap etc I've heard in high end cars. Also that 5 cylinder Volvo growl and turbo spooling away make for a nice place to be lol
They have just bought the car from N.I for only £13K with only 4.5K miles on it, it's a 57 plate with the reg ST03 SOO (which is meant to be ST3 500) and it was owned by a guy who has a mint Escort Cosworth with only 13K miles from new, a 6R4! other stuff I can't remember and has just bought a mint white RS1600i (the ******* lol) So the car is gleaming and was kept in his massive unit with the rest of his toys. I was very impressed with the ST although the brakes seem to fade a bit easily for my liking lol but maybe that was down to my mates driving, he was only up home for a day so made the most of it lol. A very good purchase me thinks!
What's peoples opinions on these and anyone got one? The red Recaros make them IMO. We also visited Kish who retrimmed an interior for me and he said he will do the pleather on the door cards in matching red leather, which will tie in much better with the seats.
