Well my dad co-drives in the scottish rally championship and the driver recently got a new impreza, One faster and nicer than the other one. On monday they went down to David Higgins Rally school to test it out. So David took it for a hot lap to show Derek (the driver) how the car is meant to drivin. When David got out the car his words were "thats one fast impreza". Then Derek took it for a few laps.
He got 2 laps in then the engine blow up. :( Fortunetly its just one piston. Estimate for rebuild is £1000 and we've not even had it in a rally yet :(
