i've got a kent cam that should do the job. i havnt got exact lift/duration spec 2 hand, but it gave good power improvement over the whole rev range especially at top end, the torque band was extended ie it revved higher but torque was lost at bottom end, this was on my GTE with gas flowed head, 4 branch, straight through system, K&N, and a few other bits and pieces. urs for ?125 e-mail: stanley@fsmail.net

You've 1st got to decide what you want out of your car.

Are you after out and out peaky power, high revs and a lot of gear changing at the expense of low down torque and tractability throughout the rev range in any gear ....
OR
Do you want a car that you dont have to thrash to get good performance from, that pulls well from low revs in any gear and that doesn't require a gear change down to fire it into life??????

If you are after the first option I would go for at least a 280 duration cam -maybe even a 300 if you like driving in excess of 5000rpm and ragging to the limit all the time up and down the gears motorsport stylee

If you are more for the second option I would go for a 270 or similar.
Not so much peak power but a more even and usable torque curve.
Piper do a range to suit - phone them on 01233 500200 for specialist advice. The std Vaux aren't half bad anyway - might not be worth changing anyway?
