after umming and ahhing about putting my brother on my insurance, i did it and took him on he road for the first time today. are all learners that bad when they start?!??!??!!?! had him going round an industrial estate for a bit to get used to the car and stopping/signalling for junctions and once he felt comfortable we went round the local town (apologies to anyone in northwich held up by a red cav!) he stalled a few times and was a little clos to the curb, but he'll pick it up as he goes along. and the dual carriageway was...interesting... anyway, i'm ready for a stiff drink...

Your lucky. First time i took Hayles out, she managed to STRAIGHTEN the tie bar on the old SR by not turning the steering wheel enough turning into a junction, whilst not slowing down, and ramming a kerb.

Ive never been quite as scared before or since.

That was a year ago though, she is brilliant behind the wheel now.
