Flame Red would be a good colour to use, the std colour on that is Carmine Red which looks pretty crap next to the later Flame Red.

I know that first priorities will be to actually get the car on the road and all sorted etc but once done i really reckon you should lower it a little as it'll look ace, as above i reckon that some cav slabs would suit it down to the ground, painted in the same grey that you'll use on the bottom of the car but with lacquer on top, anyhow looking forward to seeing how she comes along.

I too would lower it around 30mm no need to slam it as that would make the ride a bit harsher and seeing as you want to resotre it I think a lesser drop would better suit the restoration. Will look a lot better, neater stance and will handle better too. IMO Nova's in standard ride height actually look more dated. Mine was like a 4x4 I could probably smuggle people in them arches.

Sorry, Been Very Busy With A Snapped Spark Plug On My V6 Omega!! And Wheel Bearing On My Mk2 Cav. Anyway All Of The N/S Is Ready For Filler Primer As Is The Bonnet, Tailgate And Doors, Just Got To Dress The Welds For The O/S 1/4 Pannel And Sill Then Its On With The Etch And The Red!!!:thumb:

Yeah, the GTE probably had the best seats of all, the pile was the deepest & I'd assume the hardest wearing. I just like the look of the SR Rainbow trim & they are the underdogs of Nova seating.

Mirrors Are Now Grey. Not Sure On Bumpstrips As I Have Painted The Lower Half, Think They May Look Odd If Colour Wasnt Spot On??

As yours is missing some standard items - rub strips, skirts instead - I wouldn't say it'd attract a genuine SR buyer who would pay top dollar.

4.5k Is Only There To Keep Mods Happy, I Really Will Consider All Offers!! I Have The Rub Strips So They Could Be Put Back On. Have Seen A Couple Advertised Recently That "Need Work" And They Were Priced High This One Has All Been Done And Only Needs (imho) A Few Small Jobs To Make It Spot On. In All Honesty I Dont Need To Sell It And Really Cant Decide If I Should Or Not, But As You Do, You Just Want To Know If Someone Would Offer You An Ammount That Would Make Your Mind Up. I Enjoy Driving It And It Costs Me And The Mrs £15 A Month To Insure Fully Comp With 6pts Each!! It Uses Feck All Petrol And Is Great All Round. But I Dont Really Need It As I Have My Calibre And Cav GSi, If No One Offers An Ammount That Makes My Mind Up Then I'll Hold On To It Till I Am Old!!:d

Did you respray the bay the same as the out side?

And did you fit the spoiler back on, just didn't see it in any pics.

Im with Si on this, IF you done it all to OEM then im sure some one would pay £3000+ Dont get me wrong it's a lovely looking Car, but as it is i would of though £2000 is the top price (work taken into consideration on that price)

Take the skirts off, fit the rub strips, re-do the shine gray in matt finish, hey presto you just added a £1000! im sure loads would buy it withe the grey in matt, not gloss IMO.
