how do you know if your wheel bearings are worn? i have a squeaking noise coming from my passender side rear hub and a rumbling/grinding sound coming from the driver side hub. if it is the wheel bearings how big a job is it to sort out .

jack the car up and rock the wheels if there rockable then there shagged

get ya self a haynes manuel and it should take u a day to do them all.

No, i'v had that before. It was my handbrake sticking!! On the drivers side where the cable does a 90' turn, there is like a metal hoop it goes through. well on mine it has been squashed and was pinching the cable. The poor little spring in the rear hub wasnt strong enough to pull the cable back and so it was sticking. I got all sorts of noises out of it!!
