I'm just aware that weight is CRUCIAL when it comes to trackday cars as it affects all aspects of a cars performance (except topspeed), something the lardyblock crew have sadly missed :cry::cry::cry:

I seriously regret buying it, the nova will not have a heater in it, due to me not having the time, inclination or facilities to do so. I was relying on a mate towing me there and using a fan heater to keep the nova frost and mist free for the track, but he has now pulled out. So it would be impossible to drive to the track in sub zero conditions, as the screen will frost up. I was considering using my calibra, but that would need new brake pads, cambelt and even then I wouldn't want to thrash it. So the only viable option is to try and sell my pass. I'll do an actual for sale add, just thought I should explain myself here.

Oli, as you know, i have no heaters so i was also worried about this.

The car is running, the engine sounds sweet. Exhaust, brake fluid, gear linkage and suspension to go.

if you want a pit, which i presume everyone does, make the effort, get there early, and all together if possible, as if people are at the other end of the pits, you probably won't see them all day, with all what goes on lol

Depending on what car he has airfield trackdays can be a great starting point. They do tend to be a little punishing on your tyres but there cheap and I always enjoy doing them.

Any trackday though is a good starting point, just go in novice class and drive to your ability, don't push too hard, you will have the bug after about 5 mins lol

Had a look at it earlier on mate, and i think it will need cutting/welding to fit the baby valver downpipe... so its pointless doing that as it will then needed modding again to fit the xe....
So i'll just make do with the old system. At least sound tests aint going trouble my car lol lol

had a night mare day in work all day and exhuast not done so will have to make do with old exhaust, didnt have time to go and collect cesaros with goodyear f1's so looks like ill be rolling the speedlines not overlly happy about it but hey ho my brother was meant to take it to get tracked for me today but agian didnt get done so stressful day and not much achieved

Found a bit of motivation so managed to get my other exhaust fitted, so at least it'll SOUND a bit quicker now lol lol
Hopefully it stays fitted as ive just fitted it in the dark about 20mins ago and dont have a light to check where abouts the tailpipe is sitting etc lol
No knocks though, bit of a blow but all is good.

Put a bit of oil in the engine, so should be sound.
