Seen a set of Coilovers on eBay - Avo ones :)

Was wondering for the rears, would the turrets need to be stitch welded to run them ?

Or could I pop them in and run them straight away ?

Cheers, Vaughan :thumb:

Dont NEED to be welded no.
It may be worthwhile strengthening the bottom shock mounting on the rear axle though.

Will you be taking rear passengers? If your are probably be wise getting the rear stictch welded. Dont need to turret the rear, little pursuasion with a hammer will give enough room if not enough space already.

Probably carry the odd passenger in the back but with me being over 6ft tall there will barely be any room in there lol

How would the shock mount on the axle be strengthened ? Any pics or links ?

Weld in a plate over the front part of the mount, (fill the sides in almost)

I think I know what you mean - Like box it instead of it being like the l_l shape ?

If that makes sense lol

Nice one mate, did you have to stitch weld the turret ?

And/or give it some dressing with a hammer ?

See my project thread dude, I beat the chassis back a bit and fitted them.
No turret, but i have a welded in brace (every nova should) which helps hold everything tight too.
