gsi wiring

the wiring in the engine bay of my gsi is completely screwed, the car is now down to a bare shell bar wiring, i was just wondering how hard it would be to replace just the engine loom (if possible) with a second hand or newly built one.

Not that hard at all. Get a second hand one and trace it as you replace it.

would you replace it wire by wire or just by the whole loom?

Just get a whole loom. Easy peasy then...
