oil cooler inlet outlet can these be blocked off with bolts?

and

brake servo vacuum pipe to engine what do people use?

See if you can get a 1.6 Nova GTE vacuum pipe, either that or patch one together from the ends of another vacuum pipe & some 12mm (?) dia petrol pipe. Thats what I have done.

You need to remove the threaded insert in the centre of the oil filter boss on the pump, remove the take-off for the cooler & replace the central threaded part with that from an 8v IIRC. Theres a 10mm (iirc) allen key hole in the centre.

but could i just block the hole's off with bolts or has it got to flow around the cooler

no, you need to remove the take-off for the oil cooler, as I posted.
