Yes it is :thumb:

Really like the loook of it in black, although I think it will need some side skirts to keep with the look of it. Looks like a big gap between front/rear arches.

Fackin love that, always wanted Borbet A's

Which wide arch kit is that?

EUROTURBO
10-11-08, 02:01 PM
the kit is staying skirtless i dont really like the ones that come with the kit, Yes it is H101USA and the wide arch kit is the Magnum Motorsport one and it fits like a dream, fair enuf it had alot of modifying to make it all look new but the kit is amazing, i will put up the WIP as soon as the engine goes in and the bumpers are on but the car as a whole looks amazing with the bumpers on...

Looks mint in black mate and a mk2 as well. Bonnet doesn't do it for me but I suppose its more about functionality

yea, TBH once all the engine is in there as well as all the other gear crammed under there its gonna get a little toasty so i knew i needed some vents and there from the same era as the car and i think compliment the shape rather than spoiling it with GSI ones smoothed in plus again with the GSI ones air can escape but not come in, where as these ones air gets in both the vents :thumb:

And yea its nice to say now its all been taken apart and sorted out properly that its not someone elses car im drivin around in...dont think theres many things other than the wheels and arches that were there originally lol ???

Heres just a quick one of the finish inside but im not posting anymore till the WIP thread lol.....

inside has been completely redone from near bare metal taking out all brackets and seat towers from the rear and re-spray sealing the seams to a modern standard...

Looks real smart, the arches look good without the skirts IMO.
Like the vents aswell but they are the wrong way round! They are supposed to vent backwards to extract the hot air and drag air in from under the car

TBH i didnt know that, bought the bonnet like it, im sure it will be ok.. theres enough gaps for air to escape from around the engine bay...

The rear arches were already on the car but lets jus say all hidden bits were a little bodged so the rear ones were re-done.

Literally everything under the arch has been cut away to stop it rotting from the inside out, and spray-sealed for rust protection..

i have many pictures but im affraid you will have to wait for the WIP!!!
