View Full Version : Painting Bumpers
After a bit of advice please as im after painting my Sr bumpers satin black.Also the sideskirts.What paint do i need and how do you go about prepping these things? Any help is apreciated

I'd guess you will need some sort of plastic primer first to give the paint something to "key" to. Also as they are textured, you may want a type of filler primer, but that is optional. Get the prep right and the finish wil be good.

Depends if you want em smooth or not, you can just spray them with plastic primer and paint like normal, or to smooth best tecnique I found is to spray with filler primer and sand down to smooth (takes loads of layers and loads of sanding) you end up with something like this -
