crown wheel and pinions

does anybody know how big a job it is to change the crown wheel and pinion in my f13 gearbox.

i dont know alot about gearboxes so any help will be much appreciated.

th box i have got just now is a f13cr with a lsd (big f20 diff for f20 cv joints and stronger shafts) but it has a standard crown wheel i think. i dont know for definite but i am wanting more acceleration than top speed so a 4.5 or something above that is what i am looking for.

does the cwp have anything to do with the diff? (so i know what cwp to buy) also can it be changed whilst still being in the car?

is there any standard vauxhall gearboxes with a 4.5 or similar in them?

it will be a diff for an f10,13,15 you have not a f20 it will just have the larger slide gears so you can run the bigger cv joints. you can do them on the car but much easier with the box out. think you can get a standard cwp up to 4.5 but think that there pretty rare to find so your only other option will be a quaife one wich is rather expensive
