my redtop nova has started backfireing a little bit when throttling off put new coil,plugs,leads,dizzy cap an rotor arm on but still the same.could it be fuel pressure or something along them lines:confused:

had my mates redtop doing that told he to change the air flow meter it was getting to much petrol, also o2 sensor ws coming up but think it was coming up becaUSE the ir flow meter was over fueling and not reading right

what do you mean 'back-firing a bit'? do you mean popping and rumbling on the over-run? there may be a hole in the exhaust or a dodgy gasket.

I wouldve thought exhaust too.
