what is ported head and what dose it do call me stupid but i have never heard of this before grant

Porting , or gasflowing, is the modification of the cylinder head such that it will flow more air. more air + more fuel = more power.
Gas flowing can also be applied to inlet and exhaust manifolds, air filter ducting and even some carburetors..
