At the end of jan/feb time im hopefully gonna be dropping a 1.6 16v in the nova.
But im unsure what to do.
I want to turbo charge it, but im not sure of neware that sell turbo kits for a 1.6 16v, also id like a price (links plz!)
Or should i go for twin carbs?
Any suggestions considered!
Thanx in hand

A std 1.6 16v drops right in no mods to mounts etc required BUT there's quite abit more to it. The easiest thing to do is to have a word with the following:
1. Velos - 01283 542484 specialise in tuning 1.4 and 1.6 16 valvers
2. Carquip - 01366 324318 breakers and prepare competition Corsa's
3. RRE - 01769 581565 reckon to prep. a load of 1.6 and 1.4 Corsa's for alsorts of applications

The only cheapish mod will be the std engine - still prob. over ?1 k in and running and fully sorted.
Anything else - from another ?1k to ?4-5.
The turbo idea?? Would be mental if done well - 250 hp???? but a very serious conversion with a very serious price tag. For a start off the std engine would need major mods to lower the Compression ratio - special pistons etc
IssacHunt - they're linked with a tuning firm that do turbo conversions - lost their name tho sorry. They had a car a pod this year that was fcuk quick
