Removing Plastic Crossmember Trim

What's the best way to do this then?

There's clips under the crossmember all the way along holding it on. Is it just a case of riving it off? I have already tried doing this and got part of it off on the corner but the rest of it seems to be sturdy and doesn't want to budge! Don't want to pull too hard on it incase in snaps.

Anyone got any tips?

The little plastic rivots are easy removed, just push the centers out with a tiny screw driver, once they are all removed it'll almost fall off.
