Got this from a friend on one of our local Forums.

So here's the picture, I'm sitting in the Spaniard last night having a quiet drink and a drunk guy wanders over and starts chatting to me. With a heavy Belfast accent I was feeling a bit edgy about him, however I gave him the time of day in the hope he'd disappear. Turns out he starts telling me he restores antiques for a living and has also on the side started his own watch making company - at this stage I was like "billy bull!"

But he continued on and after about 20-30 minutes had told me all the ins and outs of his watches and I started to believe him. They have a solid Sapphire face (which can only be scraped by diamond) and a mechanism made by Citizen. He reckons they are literally indestructable - highlighted by the slogan "Made in Belfast - Bomb Proof!" He said they are selling them at a loss to try and establish the brand. They are currently in talks with Top Gear to try to get them wearing them on the show and also get them to try to blow them up on one of the shows! Reckons they attached a few to fireworks and apart from a burnt strap they suffered no damage.

Just googled the name - Collings & Heal, and found their eBay shop. Watches look great imo! And quite an appeal with the Made in Belfast.

Check em out..

Might be an idea for a nice christmas present for someone?

it appears to be an advertisement..... we don't like advertisements that are not in the for sale section.

Its my 5th year with the missus, so theres a little pressure on to get a ring so I've decided I'm gonna buy her an Astra Coupe instead, It'd be cheaper but with the decline in work and lack of money, mainly due to me buying myself cars, I reckon a Nickleback CD would be a better option.

I was amazed at the price drop in Astra coupes lately you can pick a turbo up for £2k with relative ease.
