alright there looking to buy another spare block was wondering is there any difference between the to blocks such as pistons ,c/r, stoke?

C/R, bore, stroke etc are the same.

sweet. can i use my c16se timing belt water pump and crank pulley on the e16se?

means there is more chance of me getting a block were i live and dont hav to worry about the crank and stuff being different my friend

Same questions were asked last week.
Oil pump has some differences on the late/C16 for belt tensioners.

Personally I have found differences between E16SE's early & late. The blocks can look massively different in there castings.

What is the engine code you have now? E16SE0xJ Match the letter in bold with the letter prefix on your block & they will be from the same batch.

My GSi was an 02K, but I bought a GTE engine with an 02E prefix & like I say the differences were very apparent. All the internals are compatible however.

nice. no im going to be buying a block or complete engine want a c16se engine but if i cant get can just get the early block and use the c16se hed with no egr
