im going with the common sense approach, that it was his mothers car from new, and he had the use of driving it when he became man of driving age. and then added the speakers.

all it says is
"Here is my mothers Fiat punto for sale. She is selling because she has just bought a new car. The car run's very well it also just had a brand new battery fitted and it also had a new windscreen last year. It is mot'ed until the 6th of march and is taxed until the end of Feb. It also has the red key which is very important. It has a cd player, E/windows. C/Locking. The car has only covered 67k"
