Ive been up to the scrappy today and there a re a few novas in.
There is a blue mk2 sr , 2 saloons and an early 5 door hatch. Is anything worth getting off these? ie clocks, interior, boot lids, bumpers dash?

I thought about getting

Interior and tank/pump from the mk2 sr
rear bumper (early type) and boot lid (also early) off the 5 door hatch.

Anything else worth getting.

mk2 sr clocks might be worth a punt if the yard is has realistic pricing.

what would be a good price to pay for :-

early bootlid in mint condition
Early rear bumper (without the bottom swage line)
Mk2 Sr clocks

any help with the above? im on the hunt for a sport so the tailgate and bumper could come in handy if i find one with parts missing. I just need to know what they are worth so i know what to offer the guy at the scrappy

Most scrappies i've been to name their prices. You then say that you only have x amount on you, and see if they take that lol

If it were my scrappy they would prob say £20 for tailgate, £10 for bumper and £10-15 for guages.
Like Pete says, if you take them all and they say £40 just say, 'ahh jeez, I only brought £30 with me!' They may say yes. If they say no, you havent lost anything, just make out you are going to the car/cash point for more or 'borrow' a tenner from yer mate :).
Just remember to empty your wallet of notes, no point saying you have £30 then opening it up and showing em you have a big wad of notes in there!

Saloon bootlid and rear bumper (if mk2) would be handy parts, if you have the patience to hang onto them til someone wants them.

If you head back up there ask them how much they'd want for the backend of a saloon with the roof and pillars chopped off? I want to make a trailer out of a saloon.
