Ignition Barrel

Can anyone give me a definate answer whether the ignition barrel on a mk1 and mk2 are the same or not ????

im 99.999% sure they are, i rmeoved my lock set from my mk1 and put it onto my mk2. the colums are the same also :thumb:

It was, but iirc Ernie sugested that they were maybe different.

I had to fit a barrell into a mrk2 nova sr.
The barrel i had came from my mrk1 1 ltr nova.
One of them had a curled bit on the end and the other was squared off.
Unless mine was just a one off.
