hello ive just finished fitting a redtop to my nova sr and i have a nova gte fuel pump working on a switch when i start the engine it runs very lumpy and missfirey but when i switch the fuel pump off it starts running fine what can i do about this cheers

hmm, should wire it properly to the fuel pump relay. even tho that should not make it run dodgy.

what colour injectors do you have, what fuel pressure regulator do you have and is it a dizzy engine?

As above. I dont get why people wire fuel pumps up on dodgy switches(it could kill you if you ever crashed and a fuel line split.....)
And its less wiring to use the proper relay on the loom,Lol

i dont know wires lol was just easier its a dizzy engine was on creams tried blues just starts and cuts out or runs better with pump off im lost with it help please lol

it was a 1.3 sr shell do u think my fuel retun pipe is too small hence pressuring up

Should have put new lines on it anyway when you changed tank.

Possibly. I havent seen it though.

Do you have another fuel pump somewhere?

nope from tank to pump to fuel rail to return to tank thats it and tonight i changed the plugs and put the return into gerry can in the bay and it seemed alot better perhaps the return too small restricting things
