what would the effects be of using a 4 into 1 that was designed for a 1.3 on a 1.6 E16SE engine instead of one for a 1.6?

nothing detrimental imho.

only mild issue might be if you need a lambda sensor boss and the 1.3 item dosent have one in it

oh, just a thought.... you might need to gay about with the manifold - system mating up

na thats the reason for using the 1.3 ex manifold cus the stainless system ive got is for a 1.3, but the bore on that is deffinately big enough
