what can i say, i get bored unless im playing with something, Its being painted monaco blue, wheels are being refurbed i just need to find the colour for the wheels.

Cam belt needs doing asap im going to have a good look over it tomorrow and see what other faults i can point at him. Driving pos is taking a little while to get used use to, it seems to hit the rev limiter way before peak power is reached it farking flys upto 7300k and i feel like im constantly changing gears i take no notice of the drive speed.

The clutch release bearing needs doing and im going to get a lightened fly and new clutch for him.

Always like these lil things. I did work Ex at a renault garage and we had no 184 (IIRC) for a service. The Mech i was with took it for a 'check' drive after we'd serviced it, only went less than half mile but it got to 80 damn quick. (well it felt super quick when ur only 15!)

Also saw No 1 at Goodwood FOS last year, had 114 KM on it! lol lol

When Mike Brewer had a Willy 1 on Deals on Wheels (iirc) he said that no.1 was owned and written off by Frank Williams. More BS from the great man? lol

Nice car though mate, I'm a big fan, a mate of mine had a ph. 1 and ph. 2 16v and they used to have some pull and were like go karts so I can understand the hype around the Williams :)

nice car, my old 16V was so much better than i thought it was going to be...................................until the clutch went.................and i found out you have to take the engine out to change it :wtf:

i rang renault, and the guy on the phone checked on his computer, it was listed as like 17 hours or something stupid, so quoted me over a thousand pounds to change it lol

i left it on a friends drive for months and months and eventually sold it for 400quid

it was a cracking drive but i wouldn't buy another one!

Rexy
08-11-08, 07:47 PM
I used to have a clio 16v so ive been on cliosport for a number of years but never posted, Just joined up on williamsclio and also clio16valver.

Just trying to work things out etc and get my head around new engines and what bits will fit what.

Upto now, Ive done a home made steering boss and put my sparco wheel on. Basically i got a boss from halfords for a fiver and chopped the bugger and re-welded it so it sat a lot closer to the dash. Feels a little better now :D

New tyres shortly, 195/45/15 conti rainsports and the cambelt is being done next week at some point :D

It already has a full Blueflame system with De-cat and the usual K&N also a little ecotec valve that sounds like a little turbo lol. Suspension will be coming shortly along with full new bushes :D

The its on track we go :D Oh and the nova will have a 2.0l put in at some poiint during all this lol.

Justin..
