Ashley only make 1 type of exhaust system/manifold for a Nova.

o right. they have the GTE,GSI and the SR listed separately and thought they were different
Does your standard manifold have a lamba sensor in it?
They only make on "type" so to speak, with teeny tiny alterations for injection/carb
The 1.6 exhaust is slightly bigger bore than the 1.3. Get the sr one for the 1.2

yeah its got the senser on the manifold. can i not get the 1.6 for even better flow?
There's such a thing as too much flow. You'll lose back pressure and with it will go torque, dragging power with it.
Ashley are motorsport systems, designed for optimum flow on high output engines. The sr one is prob too big for a 1.2

what exhaust would you sugest then?
if you want a full system you'll be in the same boat with all of them tbh. Wont make much difference, but i'd imagine you'd notice it. Personally I'd just get a backbox, will still free things up a bit

no i know it wont be mega quick but i wont to see what i can do with it. iv owned a stupidly quick bmw so wanted to try a lil light nova
stick a 1.6 in it, engine weighs the same

was thinkin that. im lookin at a 1.4 on the bay atm
ALL novas have the same bore exhaust system.
I had a 2" bore ashley gte system on a 1.2i, no problems. Had to use a GTE manifold/downpipe too
