yeah, it's had alot of problems, ive thrown cash at it like no tomorrow, finially got it all working again. It was the dizzy, couldnt tell what was up with it.. so it was trail and error, with expensive parts untill we found it was the alternater. <<<< where the f did alternater come from? i clearly meant dizzy! haha
It's on pistonheads for 3k. Lowest i'd go is 2600, otherwise i may aswell keep it as a ornament lmao.
and i have just looked on Courtney Sport website and can not find the turbo Conversion for a 1.6 8v nova

Courtney dont do them anymore
Aye as Ad said, Courtenay dont do them anymore as theyve had problems with some so stopped offering the conversion.
With regards, to a "turbo kit" no where makes them. Its all DIY unless you can get your hands on a complete EX Courtenay Sport engine.
OK, ive had about enough of it, and I've been far too lenient.... GTE.BOI, STOP TEXT TYPING!!! This is your final warning before a sin binning.

Still considering selling the turbo bits off my courtney engine to make way for twin 40 set up. Make me a good offer and it might persuade me to sell.
What horse does yours make anyway Wilson? Its just a "standard spec" Courtenay charged 1.6 isn't it?

Dont have a clue pal, never had it on the rollers. It sat with a xe nova so im guessing around 150 bhp. And yeh its standard courteney spec.
Still a fiar whack for a charger bolted to a pretty much standard 1600 that. T2 is it? IIRC yours makes about 10psi doesnt it?

Yeh its a T2. If i keep the turbo bits going to exchange it for a t2 hybrid from turbo technics. What you using, t25 isnt it? Was only running about 4 or 5 psi. Never played with the bleed valve as i never had a boost gauge in the car.

Yeah I'll be using a T25 but at about 12psi  i though you were running a safe 10! Hence why mine was going to be run around the same!
4 or 5 psi
Really? Thats low.... 4psi = 0.28 bar :wtf:

Take it the  is due to your bottom end?
You want it peaking at 16-18psi:thumb: Its all bout the fueling dude...

I, for some reason, always believed Courtenay 1600's ran 10psi on GM pistons, hence shock when Wilson said 5! Mine will erm, kaputski!!

Im sure it is meant to run at 10 psi. But i dont have a gauge set up in the car, so boost was turned as low as it would go. My mate that put the engine in for me checked what it was running and told me it was at 4 psi, and was set at that just untill the engine was run in and i had a gauge put it.. Obviously dont want to go playing with it without a gauge lol

They do not do them anymore, for the same money you can buy an Astra coupe turbo & upgrade that.
Put an XE in it.

They are setup to run 6psi as std conversion. It doesnt sound like much but makes a dull engine rapid.

Take off the boost controller from the actuator hose & the actuator will run at 6psi, as Courtenay intended.
