There are loads out there what you on about !
It all comes down to how much you have and what condition you want.If you have a few hundered nicker then your looking in the wrong places IMO.
Try local add's.You'll will be lucky, but a few pop up.Where your looking currently (Online)you pay for what you get.
Depends what you have to play about with.
Best of luck finding something you like mind !!

i understand that but there is no way im paying 1300 quid for a standard 1.2 nova like alot that are floating around now
right now i have 300 quid cash and a car that im going to get rid off for around 500-to-600 quid so my budget is really 800 quid right now
but the other thing is i really dont want to travel 150 miles to pick one up or to go all that way and find a rot box and go back empty handed

It's a waiting game.
If you want one locally you have to bide your time & keep your eye on the market. You wont find what you want on ebay, forums or Autotrader. (unless you want to pay over the odds)

some people must just have no sense if they would throw nearly 3k on a standard nova and not even a gsi or gte or sport

saloons are the future lol
not plugging or anything, but the nova i have for sale is solid and asking what I think a very resonable price. As you know, it's just gone through an MOT without advisaries and i'm asking sub 500. What's more is Oxford is only an hour and half drive! ;)
But then you already noticed it :p
decent 83 hatch soon
not a saloon ;)

Took me 3 months to find my first SRi 5 years ago, and was sheer luck, it was on a drive way oout of tax so i left a note asking them if they wanted to sell. £520 with a brand new Mot :D
The 1st 16v shell was bought for my missus as an 'L' car that was £350 and found near her parents with a sticker in its window.
My 2nd SRi i hunted for MONTHS for, but thats because i was being fussy, I wanted a Breeze blue SRi. Found one eventually but had to go on a 200 mile round trip for it.
The 2nd and current 16v shell was found on ebay about 20 mins up the road after a few months searching, viewed it and offered them £100 to end early and they took it.
Persistance is the only way, and being quick to view on auction sites so you can get in quick and B.I.N ;)
