so what you lot think?

i have decided just to use this car first for rallying, my original plan was to put everything from this shell into my rally shell that has a multipoint cage.but think i will learn in this car first, let this car get ditched and put on its skid lid then re-build it into my good shell. i would be gutted if i smashed my good shell on the first rally.

i am going to fit compomotives all round, take the stupid blue mudflaps off, take stickers off, add in another fuel pump, tidy the engine bay up a bit and add a few other wee parts. then its time to play, cant wait to go testing on tracks and forests..

Where can I get hover tyres like these from? lol

greg1.4
02-11-08, 05:55 PM
the tyres are for sale..lol

suzuki isnt too bad to put in. different mounts/gearbox adaptor plate so i can run a f13, different rad and pipes, re-wire and make the exhaust fit..

the wiring could be a pain to do in this though as it is running a 1400 sr ignition system. its only 3 wires if you are using the old carb'd coil etc..also got the omex limiter to wire in somehow too.ah sure we will manage.lol

You get this from barnoldswick? Only a couple of miles away from me. Nice spec shell, decent price to :thumb:

ade, i had my phone on me all day. no missed calls.will talk via pm though..

i am planning on painting the red shell with full cage as thats all that needs to be done and storing it away under sheets until this green car ends up on it roof and i will swap everything over.

i wasnt planning on using this green car, not too happy about the cage only being 6 point when me and my dad are going to be in the car going through forests. i also hated the colours to start with but i am starting to like them more. just need rid of the blue flaps.

so the plan now, is learn in this car and dont be too worried about crashing etc..

yeah we picked it up at barnoldswick..it is a very good spec for the money..

again the only thing that lets it down is the roll cage and wheels..

ok, its not the tidiest conversion, but we had a week to build it before my first test day..

the engine wil be coming back out to get re-built and some more power out of it..hoping for 140bhp. also going to fit r1 motorbike carbs as the webbers are getting old and tired.
